Hudson Graham
Georgia Scouting Director

The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

Please keep checking back throughout the season as we will be your one-stop shop for everything related to high school baseball across the state. Each week we will be releasing our Players of the Week and updating the Power 25 rankings.

TEAM OUTLOOK

The Wolverines are coming off a strong season last year. They will return a lot of their key guys, and will have a couple talented freshman, which could have the makings of another winning season. They will have an experienced starting duo on the mound in Tyler Fallman and Jackson Ramon. Fallman has been up to 89, so we could see a big junior year as he apporaches the low 90's. Joaqiun Santos will be a sophomore that will be in the mix as well. We have seen him up to 84, so keep an eye out for a big sophomore year for him. Senior, Jackson Davis will be their go to guy in relief, as well as be a big contributor for the offense. Jack Roehl and Jonathan Griggs will be 2 big pieces in the offense if they can fill the holes lost from last season. Griggs is a known back stop in the '26 class that we could see have a big year. All together The Walker School has all the right parts for another playoff in 2024.
