With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Amherst Steele Comets

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Inexperience on the left side of the infield

Coach Outlook: Expectations are high for this talented group of kids. Returning our top four pitchers from last year, Evan Shawver, Nick DeJesus, Casey McConihe, and Hunter Kuzak, and adding transfer and Ohio State commit, Xavier Moore, to the squad is key. Defense should be improved, and we should have a solid line-up from top to bottom. We will be looking for major contributions from Hunter Cassidy, Mark Harris, Michael Burgess, Chad Jones, Brian D'Andrea, Ryan Glowacki, and Joe Masters as well.
