Inside the Rankings: 2023 Infielders

The 2023 Rankings Update saw the Top 7 stay strong with two newcomers added into Nevada's Top 10. Faith Lutheran product, Zane Kelly, holds on to the #1 spot with a pair of high ceiling right handers in Meadows' LJ Mercurius and Bishop Gorman's Kamdyn Perry closely behind in the #2 and #3 spots, respectively. Palo Verde product and Future Games standout, Gunnar Myro, comes in at #4 with a ton of projectability on his side with PAC-12 bloodlines and a country strong build, he is going to be a player to keep an eye on. Cooper Sheff out of Basic holds on to the #5 spot and the Swiss Army Knife type player is set to have a breakout year in 2021. Oregon State commit, Anthony Marnell IV, is the #6 ranked prospects in the state with advanced receiving skills and developing physicality expected to amplify each part of his game in the coming year. #7 ranked 2023 and possibly the best athlete in the class, Jet Gilliam, announced his commitment to Long Beach State shortly after the completion of the 2020 Future Games.
