2025 Top Prospect Games: Quick Hits

On Monday June 12th, Prep Baseball Report Arizona hosted the 2025 Top Prospect Games at the Milwaukee Brewers complex. The Top Prospect games is an invite only event to all prospects in the 2025 class. Giving the players the chance to showcase their skills in front of the PBR Arizona Staff using state-of-the-art technology on field. 

Today, we’ll start by giving you the Top Performers from the Top Prospect Games, which we like to call Quick Hits. In Quick Hits you will be able to see how these players tested and were evaluated by the PBR Arizona Staff throughout the showcase. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for more post event coverage.

FULL EVENT COVERAGE

Ryan Caruso RHP / RHP / Corona Del Sol, AZ / 2025

The uncommitted right handed pitcher had a standout day on the mound at the 2025 Top Prospect Games. Caruso worked a high spin fastball that sat 86-88 toping at 88.9 with (2400-2500) spin. Caruso had a 3-pitch mix, a slider that ranged 75-76 with (2500) spin. With plenty more in the tank to come, Caruso was one of the top prospects to come out of the event. We look forward to following Caruso this summer and into his Junior season at Corona Del Sol. 

 

Mickey Fox LHP / OF / Yuma Catholic, AZ / 2025

Mickey Fox was one to watch on Mondays Top Prospect Games. The 2025 uncommitted left handed pitcher worked a 3-pitch mix, including a fastball that sat 83-85 (2100) that he commanded well to his arm side. The pitch that stood out was Fox's changeup, working down in the zone with late depth that seemed to fall off the table at 73-75 (1500). We look forward to watching Fox this summer and into the fall season as he is a high follow for the Arizona Staff. 

 

Jayden Garrison OF / 3B / Desert Vista, AZ / 2025

The uncommitted outfielder out of Desert Vista high school had a standout day both in the field and at the plate at the Top Prospect Games. Garrison is a highly athletic prospect that glides in the outfield making his fielding look effortless with an 87 mph arm from the outfield. At the plate Garrison has a simple compact swing that works to the middle of the field with power potential to the pull side flashing a max EV of 93.8. Garrison is a high follow for the Arizona staff and we look forward to following him as he goes into his Junior campaign. 

 

Gavin Mesa OF / 3B / Chaparral , AZ / 2025

Mesa has been a high follow for the Arizona staff this spring as he recently made his way into the top 10 prospects in the 2025 class in the previous rankings cycle. Mesa is a physical outfielder at 6-foot-4 200 pounds. at the plate Mesa has a flat compact swing with tons of power potential upside to come, he lead the event in EV at 98.5 and closed out the event with a shot off the right field wall for a double. In the outfield Mesa moves well for his size with a 7.08 60 and 86 mph arm. Mesa will be joining us in Georgia at the end of July for this years Future Games. 

 

Brady Campbell OF / SS / Pinnacle, AZ / 2025

Campbell flashed an array of tools and skill on the field and at the plate. While demonstrating a highoverall level of athleticism, Campbell showed off his arm on the field producing the highest infield velosand outfield velos. At the plate Campbell showed quick hands and the ability to create consistent speedand power with his bat. On the mound flashed a fastball with an average range of 83-86 with late rideinto the zone. Shows plenty of athleticism on the mound with solid arm speed with decent command.

 

Coby Neville OF / RHP / Mountain Ridge , AZ / 2025

At the plate Neville flashed plenty of hand and bat speed that created consistent exit velocities. Nevillecreated consistent line drives within his swing and shows the ability to drive the ball throughout thefield. Showed decent ability to move on the base paths and in the outfield. His arm in the outfieldshowed plenty of strength and overall Neville showed plenty of tools that will develop.

 

J.T. Price 3B / RHP / Centennial, AZ / 2025

On the mound Price offered a fastball that ranges from 84-85 with late ride into the zone. The fastballshowed one of the highest average spin rates on the day averaging 2250 rpm and got up to 2350 rpm.The curveball showed solid late depth into the zone with run and produced similar spin rates to thefastball. In the field showed solid footwork with consistent arm strength and played his position well. Atthe plate Price showed quick hands and the ability to create line drive contact. Swing showed consistentbat path and some gap to gap power.

 

Cam Jantz OF / RHP / Higley, AZ / 2025

In the box Jantz flashed plenty of power within his swing in which he produced some of the highest exitvelocities of the day. With an average exit velocity of 90.2 mph, Jantz showed consistent line drivecontact and the ability to produce gap to gap power. Showed a solid run tool considering his largerframe, flashing plenty of future projectability within his development. In the outfield produced one ofthe strongest outfield velocities and showed decent range when tracking plays. Overall demonstratedplenty of confidence within his game and a high level of athleticism at the plate and on defense.

 

Carter Brown 1B / RHP / Cactus Shadows , AZ / 2025

Brown flashed plenty of athleticism throughout all components of his game. At the plate Brownproduced some of the hardest exit velocities of the day with the ability to create line drive contact. Inthe field Brown showed one of the strongest arms in the infield and solid defense at 1 st base whilemoving well for his larger frame. Brown showed within his swing to be a power producer in the box andput together competitive at bats. On the mound his fastball showed one of the highest velocities with itreaching up to 88.1 mph. The fastball flashed consistent ride late into the zone with one of the highestaverage spin rates of 2270 rpm. The slider showed decent late run with plenty of movement into thezone. Overall Brown showed very projectable tools and the ability to produce on the mound and at theplate.
