Phil Madonna is a 5-foot-7, 150-pound catcher from Vincentian Academy. The Class of 2014 prospect displays advanced receiving and blocking abilities behind the plate. His 2.02 pop time was the best of the day at the Western PA Top Prospect Showcase in June. Madonna's receiving skills also stood out in his performance during pitcher's bullpens. He had a velocity of 76 mph to second base on throws from the crouch and showed the ability to spray line drives to all fields during his round of batting practice. If Madonna adds some growth to his athletic frame he projects as a quality catcher at the next level.

Madonna is a two time All-Section selection who hit .448 in 2012 with an on base percentage of .500.
