Christian Brothers traveled to Bradenton, FL. last week to compete in the IMG National Classic tournament and came away with a Runner-Up finish at the event. Junior lefty Jared Shemper turned in a performance that earned him the Most Valuable Pitcher award for the tournament.

Shemper took the mound against Largo HS (FL) and fired a complete game, one-hit shutout in a 6-0 victory. The Austin Peay commit was in control the whole way in racking up 14 strikeouts while walking three in the dominant effort.

For his efforts on the field, Christian Brothers 2017 LHP Jared Shemper has been selected as the PBR Tennessee Pitcher of the Week for March 21-26.
