Evaluation:  6/20/16- 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed pitcher. Medium build frame with stronger lower half. Compact repeatable delivery. Clean arm action with minimal effort. Fastball has solid life with varying run and cut action at 80-83 mph. Underneath breaking ball occasionally; causing loose spin with 1/7 shape. Interesting left-handed option with development of breaking ball. Solid command of fastball with late movement.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
LERNER: Many different schools have expressed interest. Navy, Bucknell, Grinnell, St.John’s, Bethel, Oberlin, Furman, St. Thomas, Macalester and Dartmouth are some of the schools I’ve heard from.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
LERNER: I have visited Furman and St. John's, and I am visiting Grinnell in the near future.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
LERNER: I am looking for a high academic school that I can compete at their level, regardless of what division they are in.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
LERNER: We beat Woodbury in the game of the week and I got the start and the win. CDH went undefeated through half the season and we were ranked #1 in the state at one point.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
LERNER: I would like to find a school that is right for me before I graduate, and I want to go to state with my high school team for my senior year.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
LERNER: No

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
LERNER: My ACT is 30 and my GPA is 3.6.
