Scouting Report

10/16/16 – Tall and projectable 6-foot-2, 165-pound LHP should continue to see an increase in velocity. Repeats delivery well with minimal effort, uses a short arm stroke and works through a high-3/4 slot, pounds the strike zone with good pitchability, fastball topped at 81 mph but pitched at 79-80, shows feel for a tight 67 mph curveball, likes to backdoor right handed hitters with the curveball, threw one changeup at 70 mph with good arm action that showed late fade. Fox worked two efficient innings at the Border Battle allowing one hit while recording two strikeouts (one swinging on FB, one swinging on CB) in his two innings of work.
