Tennessee Diamond Notes: Week 3

The Tennessee Diamond Notes is a 2024 content piece that will focus on highlighting some top performances across the state based on nominations from high school coaches. We will highlight those positions players, pitchers and two-way players every Wednesday of the high school season that are deserving to be highlighted based on their performance.

Chance Point C / OF / hampton high , TN / 2024Chance Point now had 120 career Stolen Bases (120/131 attempts) for his career at Hampton High, collecting 5 stolen bases on the week, while being 4 stolen bases away from being 3rd place all-time in the Tennessee record books. |

Brody Winemiller 1B / OF / Collierville, TN / 2025Rankings StateRank: 29 / POS: 3
The former Prep Baseball Future Game participant would go 5-10 on the week with 2 doubles and 1 triple. He is hitting 14-35 (.400), .522 (OBP) on the season with 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2 HR's and 9 RBI's. |

Tomas Valincius LHP / 1B / Baylor, TN / 2024The Prep-Baseball all-American hit .416 at the IMG National Tourney with 5 RBI and a HR in 4 games. Also got the win against a powerhouse Highland VA team throwing 6 innings with 11 K's sitting 92-93 T94. Was named most valuable pitcher of the tournament.

Hudson Lutterman SS / RHP / Knoxville Catholic, TN / 2024The Virgina Tech signee went 3-0 on the mound this week throwing 10 2/3 Innings, giving up 5 hits with 2 ER, and 16 K's. |

Easton Sullivan C / Greenfield, TN / 2026Sullivan would collect 1 win, as well as 1 save racking up 13 K’s in two district wins vs Gleason. |

Ben Moore OF / 1B / Clarksville, TN / 2025Rankings StateRank: 141 / POS: 27
Moore has been really strong on a very deep lineup for Clarksville playing in 6 games, going 10 for 17 (.588) an OBP of .611, 2 doubles and 7 RBI's. On the season he is hitting 21 for 40 (.525) with 2 Doubles, 1 HR, 22 RBI's, 10 Runs Scored and 6 BB to only 3 K's on the season. |

Pack, a name that has made its rounds this winter on the showcase side has been picking up steady steam on the mound and culminated into a complete game no-hitter striking out 7 against a solid Bartlett baseball team. |
