Following an extremely busy winter with our staff having an opportunity to see close to 700 prospects across the state an update to the Pennsylvania Class of 2020 rankings includes the addition of 30 new players to the list. The total now stands at 190 and will grow to between 250 and 300 by the time this class graduates in 15 months. Look for an update to the PBR overall rankings for this class to be released in the coming weeks.

+ RHP Travis Luensmann (Bellwood-Antis) jumps 12 spots in this update to No. 10 following an impressive bullpen on day two of the Preseason All-State Showcase. The 6-foot-6, 205-pounder sat comfortably in the upper 80s while touching 90 mph. Luensmann's two-seam fastball also showed promise with considerable sink and he flashed confidence in his changeup with cut action.

 

+ It had been 15 months since we last saw shortstop Charlie Yanoshik at a PBR event and the improvements were very noticeable. Defensively, Yanoskik continues to showcase the skill set that allowed him to announce a commitment to Tulane in 2018. On day one of the Preseason All-State Showcase Yanoshik showcased above average footwork and the ability to set himself up for a good hop with easy 84 mph arm strength across the diamond. The right-handed hitter is noticeably stronger at the plate where he showcased a 92 mph bat exit velocity while driving baseballs to both gaps. Yanoshik also ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. Previously at No. 50, Yanoshik now sits at No. 19 in this class.
