Huntley 3, No. 1 Jacobs 1
Adam Smylie scattered seven hits in five innings and Cole Raines and Cam Reed delivered in relief as Huntley handed Jacobs its third loss in four games. Brad Model drove in two runs and Joe RIzzo had two hits for Huntley. Jacobs’ Brendan Heiss and Kraeton Moll allowed one earned run but were hurt by three errors.

No. 2 Mount Carmel 19, St. Ignatius 6
Alek Thomas
went 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBI for the Caravan. Bobby Seymour also went deep and drove in five runs in the victory. Neil Novosel added two hits, three RBI and four runs.

No. 7 Plainfield North 8, Oswego 3
Anthony Agne
went 4-for-4 and Plainfield North scored five runs with two outs in the top of the seventh to break it open. Brandon Knox’s two-run single broke the tie. Jacob Miller got the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Jake Dunham had two hits and two RBI for North.

No. 10 Edwardsville 18, DeSmet Jesuit (MO) 2
Kade Burns
and Tyler Stamer hit home runs and combined for 10 RBI in the victory. Colin Clayton went 3-for-3. Tyler Hosto struck out seven in four innings.

No. 12 LIncoln-Way North 8, Lincoln-Way Central 3
Tom Szczasny
went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI as the Phoenix won their ninth game in a row. Luke Van Artsen went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run.

Belleville East 16, No. 14 Waterloo 6
Jordan Yates
belted three doubles and had three RBI and Drew Milas went 3-for-3 with two RBI for East. Tyler McCallister hit a grand slam as Waterloo scored six in the top of the fifth to cut its deficit to 8-6, but East responded with eight in the bottom of the inning.

No. 15 Naperville Central 6, Waubonsie Valley 1
Ryan Eiermann
allowed five hits and a walk while striking out six in the complete-game victory. Conor Joyce went 2-for-2 with two RBI for Central. Beau Buchanan scored two runs.

York 10, No. 17 Oak Park 2
Matt Ricker
had four hits and Joe Polowski pitched a complete game for York. Polowski allowed six while striking out seven and walking none. Hank Christie had two hits for OPRF.

No. 18 Nazareth 6, Maine South 5
Anthony Viviano’s
RBI single in the bottom of the seventh won it for the Roadrunners. Carson Bartels had three hits and starting pitcher Kyle Kane had two for Nazareth. TIm Schau had two hits and scored two runs for Maine South, which led 5-2 in the fifth inning.

No. 21 Joliet Catholic 6, Lockport 2
Drake Fellows
struck out 10 in five innings and had an RBI single for the Hilltoppers. Aidan Tyrell scored two runs.

No. 23 Alton 8, Highland 3
Noah Rathgeb
went 3-for-3 and scored three runs in the victory. Jacob St. Peters allowed two hits in 5⅔ scoreless innings for the win.

Conant 7, No. 24 Prospect 6
Ryan Roberts
had three hits and Logan Smith added two for Conant. Trevor Enquist had two doubles for Prospect.

No. 25 Plainfield South 6, Plainfield Central 2
Jordan Mikel
homered for the second straight day as South completed a three-game sweep. Nick Ochs struck out eight in five innings of three-hit ball. Nick Enloe and Gabe Wair had two hits apiece in the victory.

Lake Forest 3, Carmel 1
Cal Coughlin
struck out 13 and allowed three hits in six innings to defeat his former school. The TCU recruit allowed an unearned run and did not walk a single batter. Ole Miss recruit Cooper Johnson went 1-for-3 against Coughlin.

Peoria Notre Dame 5, Richwoods 2
Alex Skibba
struck out nine in a complete-game victory, allowing six hits and one walk. Bryce Hinton and John Epley drove in two runs apiece. Jack Cunningham and Jordan Hursey had two hits each for Richwoods.

Normal West 7, Metamora 6
Jake Marti
singled home Matt Ogden with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth. Marti and Mitch Fairfield had two hits apiece and Nick Watson had two RBI for West.

Reed-Custer 1, Seneca 0
Eddie Wilkins
pitched all eight innings, allowing three hits and three walks while striking out 10 in the shutout. Travis Schoonover went 3-for-4 and scored the game’s only run after singling and stealing second in the top of the eighth.

Monticello 3, Maroa-Forsyth 2
Mitch Rhoades
singled to lead off the top of the seventh and scored an unearned run to break a 2-2 tie. Konnor Bundy pitched 2⅔ scoreless innings to win in relief. Clayton Sprague pitched a complete game for Maroa-Forsyth.

Morton 4, Glenwood 3
Ryan Altenberger
went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in the victory.

Collinsville 9, Jacksonville 2
Seven Collinsville pitchers combined on a three-hitter. Clayton Hartman drove in three runs.

Palatine 10, Buffalo Grove 6
Zach Oles
belted a two-run double as Palatine broke it open with five in the top of the seventh. Danny Amato had two hits, two RBI and two runs in the victory. Joey Pinakidis had two doubles for Buffalo Grove.

Barrington 5, Hersey 0
Jake Zyzda
pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk for the Broncos. Colin Starvel went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Fremd 10, Rolling Meadows 0
Tommy Josten
went 2-for-2 with two RBI and three runs for the Vikings. Jared Swenson pitched all five innings for Fremd, allowing three hits.

Prairie Ridge 10, Grayslake Central 0
Jon Tieman
pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks in the six-inning victory. Jacob Carpenter doubled, tripled and had three RBI.

Grant 4, Johnsburg 0
Hunter Sadoski
pitched a shutout and James Pendley had two hits in the victory.

Grayslake North 5, Hampshire 2
Brendan Taskovic
pitched a complete game and Charlie Burr doubled and drove in two for North.

McHenry 10, Woodstock North 0
Bobby Miller
struck out seven in four innings and Matt Spooner had three hits for McHenry.

Lake Park 8, Naperville North 0
Jim McDonald
struck out nine in five innings of three-hit ball and Joe Amore and Dan Defino finished off the shutout. A.J. Ackerley had two doubles for the Lancers.

Neuqua Valley 13, Wheaton Warrenville South 3
James Gargano
went 4-for-4 with four RBI and Jack Bastable and Tim Schneider had three hits apiece for Neuqua.

Wheaton North 15, Metea Valley 2
Zach Colangelo
went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI and Ryan Kocher went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs for North. Casey Becker allowed four hits and struck out five in the five-inning victory.

Lyons 9, Hinsdale Central 8
John Miranda’s
RBI double in the top of the ninth was the difference. Kyle Kohn had three hits, including a triple, and Mike Courtney had three RBI for the Lions. Jack McGuinn pitched three no-hit innings of relief for the win.

Downers Grove South 10, Morton 3
Cameron Crowley
struck out eight in five innings of two-hit ball for the Mustangs.

Glenbard West 6, St. Viator 5
West scored five runs in the fifth on just two hits, a double Elliot Hamilton and Zach Lutz’s bunt single, to rally from a 5-1 deficit. Justin O’Neal struck out six in four innings of one-hit ball for West.

Bolingbrook 5, Joliet Central 1
Jeremiah Lebron
went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI for the Raiders.

Lincoln-Way East 12, Richards 4
Brandon Skopick
went 4-for-4 and Brett Melby had three hits and three RBI for the Griffins.

Bremen 13, Rich Central 1
Collin Brown
and Mike Fuentes had two doubles apiece and Fuentes struck out six in four innings of one-hit ball to get the win.

Kaneland 5, Wheaton Academy 0
Noah Jones
pitched a three-hitter and Joe Laudont and Matt Rosko had three hits apiece for Kaneland.

St. Patrick 7, Young 6
Ben Ranft
doubled home the tying and winning runs as St. Patrick rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh. Samuel Reichert had three hits for Young.

DePaul Prep 15, Maine West 2
Grayson Sanchez
went 4-for-4 with three RBI for the Rams.

Geneseo 7, LaSalle-Peru 1
Marshall Rice
pitched a three-hitter and Jacob Van Doren and Keaton Rice homered for Geneseo.

Tri-Valley 6, Heyworth 4
Hunter Merritt
struck out nine in five innings and Austin Weichman doubled twice in the victory.

Lockport 13, Homewood-Flossmoor 7
Anthony Cocco
homered and drove in four and the Porters erupted for 10 runs in the top of the ninth in the completion of a suspended game. Joey McGuire went 4-for-6 with four RBI for Lockport.

Dundee-Crown 5, Crystal Lake South 1
Danny Denz
allowed two hits and struck out 11 in six dominant innings for Dundee-Crown. Erik Hedmark drove in two runs.

Boylan 1, Rockford Auburn 0
Max Maney
pitched a five-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk and Nate Washington scored the game’s lone run on a wild pitch in the third inning.

Timothy Christian 5, Aurora Central Catholic 2
Jimmy Allen
had two hits and scored two runs for Timothy Christian. Patrick Roelofs allowed six hits in 6⅔ and Carter Johnson struck out the final batter on three pitches for the save.

Pleasant Plains 3, Holy Trinity 0
Guiseppe Mattera
struck out 16 in a one-hitter, walking three. T.J. Painter and Cole Greer had two hits apiece. Jesus Fernandez allowed one earned run on five hits in a compete game for Holy Trinity.
