PBR: Why did you choose Monroe Community College?

Valiquette: I chose Monroe because I really saw it as somewhere where I can be successful. The coaching staff seemed really great, and the team seems like it has a family type atmosphere.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Valiquette: I was also considering Lakeland CC, and Macomb CC

PBR: Where did Coach Brust first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Valiquette: We had a double header against them last spring so I first met Coach Brust there, then this winter Dan Thompson helped set me up to go down there to work out for Coach Brust and his staff. From there I have been in contact with Coach Brust, and his assistant, Coach Fuller through email and phone calls.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Valiquette: My parents, they are always pushing me to be the best I can be.

PBR: Now that you have committed to a school, what are your plans for the upcoming season?

Valiquette: My plans are to continue to work hard so that I can become a better pitcher and try to get myself ready for college.

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and how has that helped you prepare for the next level?

Valiquette: I play for the Ontario Terriers, they have helped me prepare for the next level not only on the baseball field, but also they make sure we become more mature, accountable, and better men.

PBR: What do you feel are the strengths about your game?

Valiquette: I feel my strengths are my sinker, and my knowledge of knowing what to throw and when to throw it.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date.

Valiquette: My most memorable moment is playing in the Junior Sunbelt Classic in Oklahoma last June.

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced in Ontario?

Valiquette: Josh Naylor
