There were several worthy candidates submitted for Pitcher of the Week, but as we mulled through the numbers, one pitcher stood out.

Breckinridge County senior lefty Trey Woosley put up dominant numbers in a week that saw him win two games for the Fighting Tigers. All told, the Lincoln Trail commit worked 14 innings, allowing just one hit and two walks while racking up 17 strikeouts. One of Woosley’s wins was a complete game no-hitter.

For his performance on the field, Breckinridge County 2016 LHP Trey Woosley has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Pitcher of the Week for March 21-26.
