With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Dalton Bulldogs
Team Name: Dalton Bulldogs
Head Coach: Scott Huth
Division: IV
2017 Record: 16-12
Conference Record: Wayne County Athletic League, 7-7, 4th place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/5

Coach Outlook: We obviously peaked at the right time and ended up playing in the final 4 in Columbus last season. That finish, and the amount of starters, pitchers and returning letter winners, have our hopes and expectations pretty high going into the season. We have our focus on our conference season though, as we did not perform as well in our conference last year as we would have liked. But our league is extremely competitive and we are one of the 2 smallest schools in the conference.
PBR Outlook: After a crazy ride in 2017, the Bulldogs and coach Scott Huth return most of their team with hopes at making a run toward Huntington Park.
