Austin Gauthier, MIF, South County, 2017
Gauthier committed to Hofstra. Hit from a balanced, athletic stance. Quiet hands with a smooth load back. Slight leg kick stride that stays on line and balanced. Good lower half turn with quick hands.  Short and level swing path with good extension. Fluid rhythm. Took a good approach to the round, hitting balls to all parts of the field. Line drive hitter. Threw from a quick, high three-quarters arm slot with accuracy. Positional velocity of 75 mph in November 2015. Good glove presentation with soft hands. Clean, quick footwork and exchanges. Showed athleticism playing through the ball. Showed positive actions to be a next level player.

Kenyon committed to Mary Washington.

Nathan Loyd, OF, Amherst County, 2017
Loyd committed to VMI. Loyd is an athletic outfielder with some speed, running a 4.16 from the left side of the box. He has a short swing with above average bat speed and a short bat path, working uphill a bit with good extension through the ball. He has pull power but showed the ability to use the entire field.
