Ontario Insider: Tournament 12 - Ontario Black Preview

This week, Tournament 12 begins with Canadian talent from coast to coast, all playing where the big leaguers do, down at the Rogers Centre on Blue Jays Way Blvd.

This is a great opportunity to see players from the entire country, compete in one setting for five days, and gives a great look to pro scouts and college evaluators.

Today I take a look at the Ontario Black team. It consists of 21 players and is one of the favorites to come out on top once the tournament gets wrapped up with championship play on Monday.

I’ve categorized players into positions, with small tidbits on those participating.

Catchers

Black will have three catchers on their roster, anchored by top uncommitted prospect Noah Naylor who is ranked first in the province in the 2018 class and 10th overall.
