Ontario Insider: Tournament 12 - Scout Day Notes

Rogers Centre: Day one is in the books of Tournament 12 with scout day being held on Thursday. Players were able to go through your typical showcase format with 60’s, batting practice, and defensive evaluation.

Each team had an hour workout on the field and we take a look at some of the top Ontario performers for the Futures team, Ontario Green and Ontario Black.

Eric CerantolaTomorrow also kicks off the opening games with some of the top uncommitted arms taking to the mound. 2017 grads such as Landon Leach and Noah Skirrow, ranked number two and number five in the province respectively, will start for their teams while young 6-foot-5, 2018 grad Eric Cerantola (pictured right) will get the ball for the Futures team’s opening matchup versus the Canadian boys from out east in the Prairies squad.

Future’s Team

Young and athletic, the Future’s team always draws a lot of attention at T12. The group of 2018 and 2019 grads will be a team with speed as five players ran under 7.00 in the 60-yard dash with Denzel Clarke posting the top time of 6.68.
