New York Games (July 7-9, 2015) Stands 5-foot-10, 134-pounds with a slender build. His delivery is balanced over the rubber but slower, uses a longer arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot, fastball sat 74-78 mph (up to 78-80) on single plane. Curveball sat 68-70 with some loose early spin, finishes balanced over his front side. Touched 83 this fall.
Quick Hit
We have seen Weber a few times in the past 12-months, always liked his movement and command, but with his wiry frame, the velocity just wasn't there. He recently has added 10-15-pounds since the early summer and as of recent, his max fastball touched 83 mph - a testament to his worth-ethic. Excited to see him in action this spring.
