After a full summer of events, tournaments, and a culmination finishing at the Future Games Prep Baseball Report Arkansas is releasing an update on the 2024 rankings.  Today we take a deeper dive into the top 3 players in the State, a couple of the top uncommitted players remaining on the board, as well as take a look at who's seen their stock take a rise after the summer.  You can see the full rankings by clicking here.

TOP 3

Slade Caldwell OF / LHP / Valley View, AR / 2024

The Mississippi commit remains at the top of the list as the number one overall player in the Natural State.  Caldwell packs elite athleticism into his lean frame with some of the best foot speed and left-handed juice in the box.  The Valley View product will only continue to get better as he keeps adding strength to his game and will be considered amongst the best in the Country.

Ross Felder RHP / SS / Har-ber, AR / 2024

Felder checks back into the list at number 2 overall in the State and the top ranked arm in Arkansas.  The Razorback commit has one of the cleaner deliveries and arm actions in the area with much more in the tank in the future.  Felder also is known to collect a ton of hits from the right side of the plate showing advanced barrel control and feel for hitting.

Kel Busby RHP / 3B / Pulaski Academy, AR / 2024

Busby continues to rise in the rankings now working his way up to number 3 in the class.  Busby has an electric arm that sees the fastball work into the lower 90's and matches it well with advanced feel for spin and swing and miss curveball.  At 6-foot-2 and 195-pounds, Busby is also a QB prospect at the next level and shows some of the most promise on the diamond in the State.

TOP UNCOMMITTED

Meyer Maddox OF / LHP / Jonesboro , AR / 2024

Maddox is the top remaining uncommitted position player in the State and has one of the better overall feels for hitting in the Natural State.  The left-handed hitter has a smooth stroke and shows a feel for always being on balance.  The Jonesboro outfielder has shown top 9of the order offensive skills and will also hop on the mound from the left side offering a four-pitch mix.

Jaxson Ingle OF / LHP / Lonoke, AR / 2024

Ingle checks into the list as the second highest ranked remaining uncommitted player after a strong showing at this year's Future Games.  The left-handed hitting outfielder from Lonoke put his short and compact stroke on display with good balance and strong rotation.  Ingle also jumped on the mound working the fastball up to 87 mph providing a look at his two-way potential.

Webb Watson OF / 1B / Central Arkansas Christian, AR / 2024

Another left-handed hitter makes this list as the third highest remaining uncommitted player in the state of Arkansas.  Watson has true power potential with his simple swing and strong bat speed.  Watson shows the ability to drive the ball to all fields with some pop while maintaining consistent balance at the plate.  Watson showed well at this year's Future Games.

RANKINGS RISERS

Andre Bell RHP / 2B / Joe T. Robinson , AR / 2024

The right-handed pitcher and middle infielder sees himself rise in this installment of the rankings after showing the ability to miss bats on the mound and rack up strike outs in a hurry.  Bell also shows a quick twitch swing at the plate with some hand strength making him an intriguing two-way potential prospect.

Luke Lorence RHP / SS / Little Rock Central, AR / 2024

Lorence from Little Rock Central sees a rise in the rankings as a potential 2-way prospect showing advanced bat speed and strong defensive actions.  He also jumps on the mound showing a clean delivery and shorter arm stroke with a very tight slider and late action.

Jackson Pruitt SS / 2B / Southside, AR / 2024

Jackson Pruitt enters the rankings as the 49th overall player thanks to a strong showing at this past summer's Top Prospect Games.  Pruitt shows quick hands at the plate with strong rotation and good balance.  Defensively he shows good bounce and ability to field the ball on the move with clean actions and release.
