PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
SCHRAMEL: I have heard from a few schools in the A-10, ACC, Big-10, and Summit Leagues; as well as some top DII schools in the Midwest.

PBR: Have you developed a relationship with any specific coaches?
SCHRAMEL: Yes. I enjoy regular calls with Tyler Oakes at NDSU and a couple others. I plan to expand my relationships starting now and as the spring/summer baseball season gets underway.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? If so, please describe each visit.
SCHRAMEL: I have not been on visits yet but have been to a few on college camps where I was able to meet the entire coaching staff and talk with college players.

PBR: Do you have any visits scheduled?
SCHRAMEL: In February I have one confirmed visit and more I am finalizing. I am pumped about this part of the recruiting process and look forward to building solid relationships.

PBR: Do you have any offers at this stage?
SCHRAMEL: I do not have any offers at this time. My goal is to share my high school baseball schedule and contact coaches to come watch. My high school coach is helping with this as we speak.

PBR: Do you have a timeline for your recruitment?
SCHRAMEL: I don’t have a specific timeline but I am hopeful to find a good fit this year. We’ll see.

PBR: Do you have a favorite at this stage? If so, who and why?
SCHRAMEL: I don’t have a favorite at this time. Once I have made more visits, met the coaching staffs, talked with players, and know the school is a solid fit academically; I know I will find a favorite. I do have schools I have admired since I was a very young player and my visits will start there.

PBR: What showcases or events have been most meaningful to your recruitment thus far?
SCHRAMEL: I joined the MN Blizzard when I was twelve. Many of the showcases and events that are a part of the Blizzard program have been helpful. I especially liked the interest I received last summer while participating in a WWBA 17u tournament in Atlanta, GA. I have attended PBR, Scout Stop, and Elite Sports Advising showcases, college camps, and several Perfect Game Tournaments; all of these have been beneficial. Most importantly I feel confident in my abilities on the field and am committed to continue improving every day.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
SCHRAMEL: I have a 3.1 GPA and plan to take the ACT this spring.
