2016 Massachusetts Spring Team Preview: Nashoba Regional

Team Name: Nashoba Regional (MA)
Head Coach: Chuck Schoolcraft
Division: 1
2015 Record: 14-7
Conference: Mid-Wach B
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/0

Overall Thoughts:

  • Very little pitching that has varsity experience. This is a big question mark. We do have the arms it is just whether they can get the job done. Possible players to hit the mound are Ethan Sprague, Nick Carlucci, Luke Worthington, Jimmy Henry and Tom Bunnell, all seniors and Cam Roberts a sophomore. Had 5 seniors last year in rotation. Would like to think we will be alright on the defensive side. Lost a lot on the defensive side. On the offensive side we have Ethan Sprague, Nick Carlucci, Alex Borsari and Jonah Lemieux who were in the line up last year. Jack and Ben Seeto could be contributors.

2016 Team Strengths:

  • Strength is definitely speed and leadership. Alex Borsari, Ethan Sprague and Harry Ashline are the captains. Defense should be good.

2016 Team Weaknesses:

  • Pitching is a big question mark.
