9.9.2017 - API SCOUT DAY

Projectable 5-foot-9 125-pound frame that should hold more as he grows. Hits from a square set up with some wiggle. Smooth rock back load with double tap lower half and slight arm bar when starting swing. Shorter, level swing path with average bat speed. Nice lowe half usage and balance throughout. Clean actions defensively. Good hands, clean exhcange and some arm strength across the diamond. Numbers should increase as he adds to frame.-----Nice build up style delivery building up tempo. Athletic arm action with elbow lift while throwing from a three quarter lower slot.  Pitches with regular effort. Little lower half involvement, should get better velo with more implementation. Fastball has slight run up to 77. Two seam gets more sink to the pitch. Nice breaking ball with 11/5 shape and potential for later break with tight rotation. Change up has fade to the pitch. Athletic player with solid actions all around the diamond.

3.4.17 - Projectable, compact frame at 5-foot-9, 125-pounds. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic set up. Quick load to hitting positionwith slight arm bar in to load with hands at shoulder level. Level swing path with quick hand through the zone. Nice balance throughout swing and shows some extension through contact. Exit velocity of 78 mph. Active feet in the infield, clean hands and smooth exchange. Shorter arm action throwing from a low 3/4 arm slot. Position velocity of 76 mph.
