PBR Indiana Roundup – March 27th 

#13 Cathedral 13 Bishop Chatard 0 - A nine run third inning helped Cathedral pick up their first win of the year. Ashe Russell picked up the win on the mound striking out five. Austin Sparks drove in two runs and Cathedral had 10 hits in the game. 

Washington Township 17 Lake Station 3 -Washington Township scored multiple runs in each inning in their opening game of the year. Tyler Byerly led the offense going 4-5 with a triple and two runs scored. Bobby Ross went 2-4 with a double and four runs scored. 

Bishop Noll 15 Gavit 0 - Bishop Noll cranked out 15 hits in their opening game, scoring nine runs in the second en route to a five inning victory. Julian Guerrero got the win on the mound throwing four innings allowing just one hit and striking out four. Matt Sandoval had a big day at the play going 4-4 with a RBI and three runs. Danny Pobereyko was 2-4 with two runs and Chad Mateja drove in three runs. 

Michigan City 7 South Bend Adams 3 - Andrew Ray picked up his first win of the year throwing five innings allowing just three hits and striking out 10. Logan Kaletha had a huge day at the plate falling a single short of the cycle. He ended the day 3-3 with five RBI and two runs scored. 

Morton 8 East Chicago Central 3 - Billy Rosas picked up the win throwing 4.2 innings allowing three hits and striking out four. Tim Skalba led the Morton offense going 3-3 with three RBI. Cody Earl and Sam Miller were both 2-3 on the day, Earl scored three times and Mill drove in two runs and scored twice.
