PBR COLORADO SUMMER SCOUT LEAGUE

PBR Colorado is excited to bring you the first season of the PBR Summer Scout League. This is a one-of-a-kind format. The PBR Colorado Summer Scout League is designed to give players an all-inclusive package that will meet participants’ recruiting, game-development, skill-development, and exposure needs. This is not just a league where a ball is rolled out and meaningless innings are played. Yes, there are games, but high-level competition is just a small part of this program. The package includes 9 inning games to be played at local Colorado college fields which includes Metropolitan State, Regis, Colorado School of Mines, and Univeristy of Colorado, Colorado Springs. All games will be scouted by the PBR Colorado Staff, and players will have multiple times to get their profiles updated on the PBR Colorado website which is subscribed to over 850 colleges. This is a great opportunity to be seen in front of state colleges in the area.

Uncommitted, 5-foot-8, 135-pound MIF/RHP who started the game for Rocky Mountain on the mound.  He worked two quick innings for the Lobos with a simple motion, good balance and a high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball was 76-78 mph and he worked in on hitters well.  He flashed a 67-68 mph curve with tight spin and 11/5 break.  In the field he made two great plays at shortstop.  He has excellent range up the middle and a quick glove to hand transfer.  At the plate he hit lead off for Rocky and gave the lobos the lead with a 2 RBI double down the left field line in the 7th inning.  Patient at the plate, works the count and shows the ability to hit to all fields.  Player to watch the next two years.

Can develop more velocity with better mechanics and use of lower half. Projectable frame. At the plate, Connor is a right-handed batter and has a good approach and looks to drive the ball the opposite way. Victor played numerous positions including, Right Field and 3rd Base. In the outfield, he showed good range and route running ability with what looks like could develop into a plus arm. He threw a runner out at home from mid right field in a game against Wheat Ridge HS. At third base, he looks to have good hands and good arm strength throwing across to first. Should continue to improve footwork as he progresses. Victor shows average to slightly above average speed at present and average power at the plate, both of which should continue to develop for him as he grows and fills out his body.

Good leadoff hitter with selective approach. Uses whole field. Flashed power, but will more likely come as he continues to develop. Off the mound Garrett was 77-78 with his fastball.
