Baton Rouge Summer Open: Infielder Reports

PBR Louisiana Staff

ZACHARY, LA - The Baton Rouge Summer Open was held on Tuesday, June 20th at the Zachary Youth Park, home of the Zachary High School Broncos.  This event consisted of prospects from the 2024-2028 classes and will serve as an identifier for our Future Games and Jr. Future Games teams this coming summer, as well as any of our future invite-only events, such as the Top Prospect Games and the State Games.  All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast, the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more.  Pitchers were able to throw simulated bullpens during the workout and were able to receive their numbers and metrics off of Trackman, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more.

We continue our post-event coverage with a look at some of the scouting reports from the Baton Rouge Summer Open, first we take a look at all infielders from the event.
