Scouting Report

7/24/19

A month makes a huge difference. We last saw Stover at the WV Top Prospect Games in June, and he has made significant strides since we have. Defensively, footwork was solid and an above average arm was displayed at 79 mph across the infield. His hands continue to be a definite strength and as he continues to mature, will be a huge asset for him. Foot speed is there with a 6.93-60 yard dash that was recorded.

Offensively, the 5-foot-8, 135-pound athlete displayed a stronger, quicker bat with more torque. Had one of the louder rounds of the day during the bp session. A 81-mph exit velocity was recorded. Overall, Stover continues his upward trend and will be a guy to watch during the fall and winter months.
