Scouting Notes: Beavercreek and Anderson

By Roger Janeway

ANDERSON SCOUTING NOTES

Northern Kentucky signee RHP Bela Perler (6'6, 225) pitched brilliantly, maintaining and spotting an 86-90 mph fastball. Good, repeatable delivery. Threw strikes and was also aggressive with downward tilt curve and change with occasional sinking action. Very impressive outing.

Unsigned senior hitter Ben Lemaster (L/R, 6'2, 215) is a strong bodied player with a good balanced stance; good hand trigger and line drive pop. Has below average foot speed but doesn't clog basepaths. Interesting D-2 prospect.

Interesting pair of sophomore starters in third baseman Cory Peterson (L/R, 5'10, 180) and second baseman Cody Riley (R/R, 6'1, 160)

BEAVERCREEK SCOUTING NOTES

Senior RHP Mason Bach (Sinclair signee) did not pitch on this day.

Freshman third baseman Jason Colliver (R/R, 5'10, 145) shows good baseball sense and swings bat well. Just needs to get physically stronger.
