Every update there are players that make much bigger that expected jumps. Below are three player who shot up that rankings in this edition.

Grey Sanders RHP / 3B / Mulvane, KS / 2026

Up 22 spots into the top 10 after one of the most impressive pens of the preseason, the right-hander made a velo jump into the low 90s, topping at 92 and spinning and a high end breaking ball in the mid 70s. Sanders has also had a strong start to the spring.

Coby Branson RHP / 3B / Santa Fe Trail, KS / 2026

The physical 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-hander lived in the upper 80s and flashed a few 90 mph fastballs in the zone at the US Nationals scout day. Bronson is up 30 spots in this edition of the rankings.

Will Ray 3B / RHP / St. Thomas Aquinas, KS / 2026

Ray is up over 70 spots with the addition of size and strength this spring. Always a skilled player, Ray now has the physicality to impact the game on both sides of the ball. He has made positive contributions on varsity for a talented St. Thomas Aquinas team as well.

Top Newcomers (All in the top 50)

We have added more players to our sophomore class spring update than we ever have before. Below, we take a quick look at the top 5 players we have added that college should know about.

Sawyer Newton SS / 2B / Manhattan, KS / 2026

We got our first look at Newton at the Barn Scout Day this Febuary. A high follow prospect on both side of the ball, Newton shows quick twich expolsivness in the left-handed batters box along with quickness and arm strength defensively.

Max McKenna 3B / RHP / Shawnee Mission South, KS / 2026

McKenna has jumped onto our radar this spring showing an mid 80s fastball with a projectable 6-3 frame and a clean arm actions for the Raiders.

Jackson Goos C / 3B / Manhattan, KS / 2026

A physical right-handed hitter that showed pull side pop in his round of BP at the US Nationals Scout Day. Goos had made big contribtions out of the middle of the order for the Indians this spring. Defesively, Goos has been playing a solid 3B, but his future is brightest behind the dish with high-end arm strength.

Nick Poste RHP / 3B / Blue Valley West, KS / 2026

A capable two-way prospect, Post was a standout on the mound at the Prime and Prescions Scout Day. The right-hander pounded the zone with a fastball that sat in the mid 80s. At 6-foot-2, 195-pounds, Poste is developing a workhorse frame that should allow him to cary velo as a starter in the near future.

Cole Hayden RHP / 3B / Pittsburg, KS / 2026

Jumping into our rankings at 41 is a physically impressive right-hander from Pittsburg. The 6-foot-1, 214-pound right hander has one of the strongest lower halfs in the state and uses his sterngth to deliver fastballs in the mid 80s consistently in the zone. Hayden also flashes one of the better curveballs in the class.
