Scouting Report

Lean, athletic 6-foot, 180-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.41-seconds and recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. Offensively, starts in a balanced, slightly crouched position with hands just above back shoulder. Uses a small leg lift and stride to start swing and a small, fluid load process. Short, explosive path to the ball with uphill finish. Big gap to gap power - put on an impressive show during his batting practice round. Defensively, took reps from the outfield and behind the plate. Topped at 81 mph from the outfield - short, compact arm action from a high-3/4 slot with athletic footwork and exchange. From behind the plate, topped at 81 mph on throw downs and was consistently 1.96-2.10 with his pop time. Explosive, controlled footwork. Compact arm action. Ball jumps out of hand from behind the plate with slight arm side run toward the first base side of the bag. One of the top uncommitted players in NJ.
