Scouting Report

6/6/17

A left-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open setup. Looks very athletic and confident in the box. Uses a leg kick to initiate load while keeping his barrel fluid. Strong kid with a fast bat. Consistently drove the ball with authority in batting practice. Profiles as a middle of the lineup type bat at the next level. Very impressive in BP and in game. In the outfield he plays with fluidity while approaching the baseball. Plays through the baseball with ease, transitioning smoothly into his throws. Arm is average to slightly above average while moving through a high-¾ slot.

60-yard dash: 6.63
Outfield Velocity: 80
Exit Velocity:86

2/18/17
A lefty bat that creates easy juice at the plate. Swing movements are efficient and well timed. Stays smooth throughout his swing sequence and the ball jumps off his bat. Natural tools are there and his level path allows him to consistently find the barrel. On the mound, the left handed pitcher uses an effortless type of delivery while throwing through a ¾ slot. Deceptive to the plate as mechanics with arm action hides the ball from the hitter. Fastball displays some cut at times while sitting between 78-79 mph. Breaking ball is tight and spins at 64-70 mph. Also mixes in a 64-67 mph changeup.

Home to First: 4.21
Exit Velocity: 88

2/21/16

6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic build. Left-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Good load with a flat swing that produced line drives during batting practice. Registered top exit velocity of 87 mph and ran 4.36 home to first. From the outfield he uses a good crow hop to gain momentum. Throws from a 3/4 slot with 82 mph velocity.

2/7/15

6-foot-1, 170-pound projectable frame. On the mound the southpaw stands tall with a repeatable delivery that has good direction at foot strike. Throws from a long-¾ slot with fastball sitting 73-77 mph with some late run. Breaking ball has good late 1/7 tilt at 66-68 mph and shows a hard changeup at 65-70 mph with some arm side run.
