The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as we wind down the '23 calendar and look towards the start of the '24 CIF High School baseball season by taking a look at some of the top uncommitted class of '24 athletes. This group of players is pulled directly from our '24 Rankings. They remain as the top players left on the board going into the start of their senior seasons.
We invite you to get to know them through their data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.
Today, we put the spotlight on '24 3B Cody Bigley out of Grossmont HS in San Diego, Ca.. Frame shows present strength at 6'1 190 lbs. with good athletic actions including a 7.17 sec 60 yard sprint and 1.72 sec 10 yard time. Moves well around the INF with rhythm in his feet, soft hands and the ability to throw on the run. Works from a quiet set up with a small stride, but with quick hips and hands Bigley generates 79.8 MPH bat speed to flash interesting power with 94 MPH exit velocity. Bigley profiles as a potential offense first 3B/2B at the next level and could slide to 1B. Another good uncommitted bat in the '24 class in California.

Defense: Fundamental actions. Light feet that get him in good positions to play through the ball. Works low to the ground with sure/soft hands. Quick glove-to-hand.
Arm: RH. INF - 77. Average strength. Easy effort. More in the tank. Shorter AA. 4/6 accurate throws during workout. Can manipulate slot when needed.
Hit: RHH. Athletic stance. Open feet. Smaller negative move that gets him into his backside. Simple up/down trigger of lead leg. Loads into scap.
