Indiana Recruiting Notebook

Three more players recently picked their schools, including the first 2016 player to commit in Indiana. 

Reid Schaller
Reid Schaller, RHP, Lebanon HS, 2016:
The sophomore RHP has officially committed to Vanderbilt. The No. 2 ranked Schaller is the first 2016 in the state to name his school.  The 6-foot-3, 186 pound sophomore was a member of Team Indiana during last year's Midwest Future Games where he was up to 90 mph with his fastball.  He had been clocked as high as 92 mph last summer.  




Brenden Kirkendall
Brenden Kirkendall, RHP, Concord HS, 2014:
The No. 162 ranked prospect in the '14 class recently committed to Manchester.  Kirkendall is a 6-foot-7, 175 pound righty that possesses high projectability with a fastball up to 81 mph. Kirkendall attended the Unsigned Senior Showcase in Indianapolis last October. 




Travis Waddell, MIF, Hobart HS, 2014
:
Waddell has committed to South Carolina-Sumter. The middle infielder made only one defensive error in 31 games last spring.
