With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Indiana is eagerly anticipating bringing the best high school baseball coverage throughout the entire state.

2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Bishop Chatard Trojans

Head Coach: Mike Harmon
Class: 3A
2016 Record: 22-8
Conference (2016 Record): Indianapolis City Alliance (3-1) Moving to Circle City Conference
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 2/1

2017 Team Strengths:

• Defense
• Athleticism               

Top Returning Players:

• Matthew Annee (right), 2017, P: .329 BA 3-2 2.50 ERA
• John Dietrick, 2017, SS: .302 BA
• Peyton Blamey, 2017, 3B
• TJ Mann, 2018, OF 

Outlook: Coach Harmon looks to replace 9 seniors from 2016 as he leads the Trojans into 2017.  Talent should fill their shoes, but will need to gain experience.  Matthew Annee looks to lead them on the bump while John Dietrick, Peyton Blamey, TJ Mann, and Mark Nondorf are also expected to contribute to the Trojan's success.  Moving into the Circle City Conference with other high level 3A talent will make the conference schedule a grind. Coach Harmon's group will gain experience throughout this tough schedule and hopefully be prepared for a playoff run.
