NASHVILLE, TN - The Top Prospect Games: Nashville was held on Tuesday, June 6th at Rose Park in Nashville, TN. This event was an open event that consisted of some of the top prospects from the 2024-2026 classes from Volunteer state. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, ran the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated bullpens during the workout and were able to get numbers and metrics. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Tuesday.

Continuing our post-event coverage for this event, we take a look back at the scouting reports from the event. Starting off by looking at all the infielders from the Top Prospect Games: Nashville.

Cason Hill, Middle Tennessee Christian (TN), 2025
Positional Profile: OF/SS Falls off the mound. Really flexible and has an advanced feel of coiling his body to create tension and torque. Can have a wild head and jerk it as he is more max effort arm at this point in his development. Is more of a thrower at this point and lacks the necessary feel on the mound to throw strikes at a consistent clip. Leads down the mound with his hips from a coiled lead leg turn. Overtop delivery arm action but can fall off the mound upon release. LAcks synching with off-speed to fastball as he slows down to have feel for it.
Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Athletic, long and twitchy with room for added length and size
Hit: S. Open tall narrow stance, leg kick, hands up by ear Uphill swing fast hands, good bat speed, wants to get extended out front; Pull side swing, can get long on his swing making it hard to get ot inside pitches 79.7 mph bat speed with 25 G’s of rotational acceleration.

Arm: R. INF-97 mph. Short arm action, throws from high slot; Really strong arm. Good carry behind the ball, high intent throws that can be wild
Defense: Clean action, glove pat, times up the ground ball well to keep his feet moving. Good glove, makes plays outside him body

Positional Profile: RHP/3B Athletic pitcher that understands how to use his body matching his lower half effectively up with his upper half. Really understands how to create seperation with his shoulder and hip and drive down the mound. Starts from left foot offset to a natural leg lift with tension from his plant toe present to fully open up upon delivery. Uses really good glove side hand turnover upon rotation and creates extended release. Has present feel for breaking ball but can lag behind at times as his delivery can be quick. Really quick arm with loose actions
Body: 6-2, 185-pounds. Strong lower half
Hit: R. Open tall narrow stance, hands up by his ear; Leg kick Uphill path, wants to get extended pull side; Looking to hit the ball in the air pull side. Does a good job of getting his hands extended 76.3 mph bat speed with 10 G’s of rotational acceleration.

Arm: R. INF-80 mph. Long arm action, over the top slot. Relies on his arm strength. Makes strong throws to 1B

Positional Profile: SS/RHP Great tunneling with with fastball to his curveball. Breaking Ball is a really advanced offering with present feel and late break.Sits really well fluidly upon hips opening up to transfer energy. Can get a lot of ride inside to righties and jam hitters. Can also live low and away as his body naturally angles as his foot plants in that direct line
