A review of the scores from Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017. It was a light day of games but again each game weighed heavy upon the teams playing.
Cabot clinches the 7A Central Conference Championship, with a victory of Northside.
Bryant moved into a tie for second place with North Little Rock by defeating North Little Rock 4-0.
Bentonville clinched the 2 seed and a bye in the state tournament with a 10-4 win over Bentonville West.
Pine Bluff and Searcy both punched their ticket to the 6A State Tournament, to represent the 6A East as the No.5 or No.6 seed. That will decided later in the week.
Jonesboro and Mountain Home both won to advance to the 6A East District Tournament Championship Game which will be held Saturday. By reaching this game both teams are awarded a bye in the 6A State Tournament. The Championship will be hosted at Jonesboro High School, later in the week.
Jacksonville and Marion will play later in the week to determine the 3 and 4 seed in the 6A East.
Greene County Tech defeated Nettleton, and Batesville to clinch the 5A East District Tournament Championship. Batesville will be the No.2 seed from the East. Wynne defeated Nettleton and will be the No.3 seed and Nettleton will be the No.4. This is the first district to finish seeding in the 5A classification.
Pulaski Academy defeated Little Rock Christian 5-4 and Sylvan Hills defeated Beebe 8-0. The No.3 vs No.4 game and the 5A Central District Championship is scheduled to play this afternoon.
