Each week during the high school season, the Prep Baseball Colorado staff will announce our 'Player(s) of the Week' awards for that particular week. Numerous players from across the state will continue to perform and put up numbers weekly, though only a select few can earn Player or Pitcher of the Week honors when compared on a weekly basis. Below you'll see which players have earned our 'Player of the Week' honor this spring season. We will also highlight those that fell short in our weekly 'Diamond Notes' article, where you can learn more about the standout names across the Colorado baseball landscape.

WEEK 3 COLORADO PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

Zak White RHP / OF / Centaurus, CO / 2024 White turns in an exceptional week at the plate after going 12 for 16 with 3 homeruns, 2 doubles, and racking up 10 RBI. The St. Mary's commit also has a fastball in the 90 mph range and pitched 4 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts, 2 walks, and no hits allowed in week 3. The senior has helped lead his Centaurus program to a solid 5-2 start and is one to keep a close eye on in 2024.

WEEK 3 COLORADO PITCHER OF THE WEEK:

Easton Miller RHP / OF / Fossil Ridge, CO / 2024 Miller shut down a ranked team last week after tossing 6 innings of no-run baseball with 17 strikeouts, just one hit allowed, and walking three batters. Fossil Ridge won this game 10-0 against Ponderosa and are now 3-0 on the young season. Miller is a United States Air Force commit who is actively increasing his potential draft stock with a fastball in the low 90s along with a strong swing and miss slider.
