Jaxson Joggerst, RHP, Eureka, 2026
Long, lean-limbed 6-foot-6, 195-pound athlete that’s also a basketball player for the Wildcats’ varsity squad. Currently unranked but will certainly debut come our next update to the state’s sophomore class. Was excellent on the mound in a win for Eureka against ranked Parkway South, limiting the Patriots to two hits over five scoreless innings, walking none and striking out two. Threw 35 of 52 pitches (67%) for strikes. Easy, low-effort and controlled mover down the mound that repeated his direction at an above-average rate given his age/size. Mature presence on the mound, polished and in control of the game. Clean, easy, and continuous arm path with some length on the backside, finishes out of a loose over-the-top slot. Consistently attacked hitters, got ahead often with a fastball that played in the low-to-mid-80s, touching 86 mph, and flashing late run up in the zone. Feel to spin a mid-to-high-70s slider for strikes and whiffs, tight spin, confident in it. Highly impressive look at a name-to-know sophomore that has all the makings of a potential high-end arm in the state.

Trey Snyder, MIF, Liberty North, 2024
Tennessee signee and one of the top 2024 graduates in the entire country, ranked No. 2 overall in Missouri and No. 67 in the country. Has been on a torrid pace this spring, leading one of the state’s best offenses early on in the season. Hit leadoff and started at shortstop in this look against Rockhurst. Loose, balanced, and fluid right-handed swing with easy bat speed. Keeps a level barrel through the hitting zone, on it often and has one of the highest floors offensively in the state. Broke the Liberty North all-time hits record with a line drive home run in his first at-bat, also singled later on in the contest. Has the actions and instincts to stick on the infield dirt at the next level, whether it be collegiate or professional. An on-the-rise MLB Draft follow from the Kansas City area.
