Scouting Report

McGregor is an interesting two-way guy that has a lot to offer. A left-handed bat whose swing stays short and consistently finds barrels and does display some sneaky power. McGregor looks the part with a focused and determined mentality in the box as he consistently finds a way to be a sparkplug by finding a way on base.

On the mound, McGregor fastball lives in the mid-80s with some lateral movement and a heavy feel. He is a high-tempo strike-thrower who attacks hitters and isn’t shy getting in on guys' hands. McGregor has a good feel for his change-up and likes to put guys away with a nice little slider he is constantly developing.

Cole is an interesting follow for programs looking to add some serious athleticism and plenty of flexibility to their roster.
