The "Quick Hits" article will focus in on standout players from our events our scouting staff has seen over the last year, allowing me the opportunity to give my quick hit thoughts on the player. Let's dive right in.

Braden Consaul RHP / 3B / Fairport, NY / 2022

CEVETTE'S TAKE: Consaul stormed on the scene at the 2020 NYS Games and hasn't looked back since. Sturdy pitchers frame standing 6-foot-1, 220-pounds with a thick lower half. I personally love the repeatability of his delivery combined with the ability to throw a quality three pitch mix. FB peaked 89 this summer with us via Trackman from a fluid arm-swing, high 3/4 release point. CB has 10/4 shape with 2356 peak SPIN RATE, and the CH sat 77-79. Consaul is yet another WNY right-hand pitching prospect who will likely earn his way to the D1 level soon.
