Inside the Recruitment: '16 C Aaron Harlamert commits to Sinclair CC

Aaron Harlamert, C, Coldwater HS, Class of 2016

PBR: Why did you choose Sinclair?

Harlamert: It was the only school that offered me any money and I know I would have a good chance to play as a freshman. Also I liked the school and Coach Dintaman

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Harlamert: Wright State, but only offered me a walk on spot

PBR: Sinclair is known for sending many of their players to 4 year colleges.  How much of a role did that play in your decision to go to Sinclair?

Harlamert: Yes it played a big role because my goal is to play D1 baseball

PBR: Where did the Coach Dintaman first see you?

Harlamert: When I went down to Sinclair to work out with him

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment.

Harlamert: Sidney Sluggers – when I had a walk off hit to win a tournament championship game in Columbus or when I threw a kid out stealing third and was only barely half way when our 3rd baseman caught the ball.

PBR: Sinclair CC plays at a beautiful facility in Grady’s Field.  How much of a role did distance play in your decision?

Harlamert: Not to much of a role but it is defiantly going to be nice.

PBR:  What were you stats last spring?

Harlamert: 350ish average 8 doubles 3 triples and 1 homerun.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?

Harlamert  The pitchers from Wheelersburg and CHCA that we faced the state semi’s and state finals my sophomore year. Seth Longsway is also pretty good pitcher from Celina that I have faced a couple times
