Q and A with 2013 Bowling Green Commit: Devon Fisk (Pickerington Central HS)

PBR: Why did you choose Bowling Green?
Fisk: I choose Bowing Green because I felt that it offered everything I
wanted. It has great academics, class sizes are reasonable, the
coaches are awesome and I liked the direction their program is heading.
  PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Fisk: Ohio, Marietta, Dayton, Tiffin
PBR: Where did the coaches first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Fisk: The coaches first saw me at the Southern Ohio open ID PRB event in Chillicothe. They also see me play various
times in the summer. I spoke to them after one of my game and everything clicked from their. When I went on my
visit the relationship just grew stronger.
PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Fisk: They told me I will be able to compete for a spot as long as I hit the gym hard and work on my speed.
PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help Falcon baseball?
Fisk:  I feel my biggest strength is that I will always give my best no matter what the situation and I feel my ability
to be a table setter and get on base is a big asset for the team.
  PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Fisk: Pickerington Post 283 Senior Team and the most memorable experience would be winning the state title and
going to Midland, Michigan for Regionals and getting to play against some of the top players from the region.
PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for
the team for the rest of your senior season?

Fisk: Individually I really want to work on my speed and arm strength. As for team goals I just want us to be able
to go out and compete for a OCC championship   PBR: What were your stats for last spring season at Pickerington Central?
Fisk:  BA .343 Obp .463 SB 6 BB 14 RBI 10 
PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?
Fisk: Zach Farmer
