Today’s unsigned senior spotlight is on Alex Nockerts. Nockerts is a 2013 graduate of Wrightstown HS. This corner infielder, outfielder is a physical presence standing 6-foot, 195-pounds.

After talking with Coach Eric Beard at Wrightstown HS he said that Nockerts has a great work ethic which will take him far in the game of baseball.

Nockerts shows some pop in his bat with a slightly open stance using a short stride. In the outfield he shows an efficient crow hop while getting rid of the baseball.

As a sophomore Nockerts was called up to the varsity squad to hit .333 in just a third of the season.

Nockerts is also a high academic guy, scoring a 31 on his ACT.

Coach Beard is excited about the 2013 season saying, “I am expecting big things from him (Nockerts) this year.”
