With the 2017-2018 Prospect Showcase coming up on September 21st, we are highlighting some of the top 2017 players we've seen thus far in the Hoosier State.

Name: Andy Bennett
High School: Fishers
Graduating Class: 2017
Position: SS
Height: 6-1
Weight: 165

Bennett is a projectable 6-foot-1, 165 pound left-handed hitting sophomore with an athletic frame.  He's an aggressive player with a good arm across the diamond with carry.  He displays athletic defensive actions with soft hands and good feet.  Offensively, he starts from an open stance using a short stride.  He gets good extension through contact consistently barreling up the baseball.  At the Underclass Games he showed projectable power to right field and also ran a 6.98 60.  Bennett is a high follow in the 2017 class.
