TROY, AL - The Alabama All-State Games was held on Tuesday, July 11th at Riddle Pace Field at Troy University in Troy, AL. This event was an invite-only event that consisted of some of the top prospects from the 2024-2027 classes. These players went through a pro-style workout and took batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion to record hitting metrics. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated outings facing hitters during gameplay and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Tuesday.

Continuing off our post-event coverage for this event, we take a look at all of the outfielders that were present at the event. Please continue to check back over the next week, as we will continue to release individual scouting reports on each player from the event.

Ian Cartwright, Alexandria  (AL), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/3B
Body: 6-0, 180-pounds. Proportional frame, strong lower half.
Hit: RHH. Narrow, open stance. Hands set high in the stance.  Violent swing path with carry off the barrel to both gaps.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 79.1 mph. 330’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  OF - 90.00 mph. Long arm action, higher 3/4 slot.
Defense: Big crow hop after the ball is in the glove. Feet work well through the ball.
Run: 7.10 runner in the 60.

William Clark, Briarwood Christian (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: OF/1B
Body: 6-1, 191-pounds. Strong build with physicality.
Hit: RHH. Tall, narrow stance. Showed plenty of juice to both gaps. Compact approach with some solid bat speed.  71.1 mph bat speed with 10 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 81.4 mph. 340’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  OF - 83.00 mph. Longer arm slot, over the top slot.
Defense: Athletic actions with advanced feet.
Run: 6.98 runner in the 60.

Cole Dean, Bayshore Christian  (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: OF/1B
Body: 5-10, 180-pounds. Projectable frame with present strength.
Hit: LHH. Slightly open. Tall stance.  Pullside approach with plenty of juice. Creates backspin and carry.  71.3 mph bat speed with 11 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 89.8 mph. 368’ max distance.
Arm: LH.  INF - 82.00 mph. OF - 84.00 mph. OF- Over the top slot with carry. IF- Over the top slot.
Defense: OF- Clean defensive actions. Feet work well through the ball. IF- Clean actions around the bag.

Cade Durrett, American Christian Academy (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: 3B/OF
Body: 6-3, 186-pounds. High waisted, long limbs.
Hit: LHH. Tall, open stance.  Uphill bat path with a definite middle of the field approach.  64.9 mph bat speed with 14 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 80.4 mph. 278’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  OF - 79.00 mph. Long arm slot, mostly over-the-top.
Defense: Feet work well through the ball.

Maddox Eady, Daphne  (AL), 2025

Hit: RHH. Small toe tap approach from an athletic, balanced setup.  Mostly pull side approach with some bat speed. Line drives to the gap in LCF.  72.5 mph bat speed with 27 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 80.3 mph. 286’ max distance.
