Peyton Ballard 2B / 2B / Lakeside, AR / 2021

5-foot-9,135-pound frame, projection to frame with length to extremities, ran a 7.43 60, clean gate, side to side arm, defensively, open stance with leg lift, barrel flat at toe touch, leverage from ground at launch, bog down on back side for power, extension to middle, line drives pull side with power, bat speed to contact, defensively, athletic feet, active body, solid glove presentation, hands work out in front,  funnel up to face, clean arm swing, pure stroke, arm strength,  70 MPH velocity.

 

Ethan Bates SS / RHP / Lakeside, AR / 2020

Arkansas Commit,  (5-foot-10, 155 pound frame) slender build, wide shoulders with room to fill. Showed easy tools with athleticism. Defensively solid clean funnel with efficient transfer. Short stoke to release. Glove wiggle causes late arrival with feet.  Athletic actions. Pure stroke with good carry at 75 MPH. Offensively Bat speed with athleticism. Advanced bat speed with leverage. Strength to swing with 86 exit velocity. Barrel life in load. Lack of stability in ground causes swing to lose path. Slight over rotation of the backside creating direction issues.

Grant Cross 1B / 3B / White Hall, AR / 2021

5-foot-6, 160-pound frame, bigger frame, wide shoulders, ran a 9.30 60, offensively, simple set up, toe tap to load, barrel life to load, barrel straight up at toe touch, open stride, line drive approach, backside works underneath, direction to pull side, length in back with extension to pull side, defensively, active feet, bend to field, good glove presentation, funnel to midline slightly high, replace feet to throw, short stroke, minimal carry, arm strength 59 MPH.

John Dalton RHP / 1B / Central Arkansas Christian, AR / 2019

6-foot-0, 178-pound frame, solid frame, long torso, ran a 7.71 60, offensively, upper half load with arm bar, hands fall to back hip, bat speed, hand path is to middle, oppo approach, backside gets through to contact, legs stay connected to ground, short finish, defensively, late hands, funnel to midline, bend to field, right foot in front of left to field, glove presentation good, field ball off right side, long stroke, head lean to throw, minimal carry at 69 MPH.

Eli Garrison 3B / RHP / Central Arkansas Christian, AR / 2020

6-foot-1, 170-pound frame, long levered with room to fill out, ran a 7.35 60, good gate, side to side hand action, offensively, rhythmical set up with barrel life, bounce load with barrel, barrel cocked at foot strike, power to pull side, big extension to middle of field, locked lead leg to clear barrel loses direction, backside works underneath for extension, long levers create leverage, defensively, field ball deep and off right side, late arriving feet make for deep catch, average feet moving to ball, funnel out away from body, clean stroke with arm strength at 72 mph.
