The regular season is underway in Northern California and we are getting out to some some of the top teams that have some of the top talent in the region. On 2/22/18 we checked in on Valley Christian, which is loaded with D1 talent, both committed and uncommitted.

Ryan Belluomini C / Valley Christian, CA / 2018Well put-together 6-foot-0 190-pound catcher is one of Northern California's top uncommitted catchers. Belluoimini is a strong defensive oriented catcher who also hits in the middle of a talented line-up. Sits well in the crouch while presenting an inviting target for his pitcher, very quiet actions behind the plate gives the umpire a good look, strong receiver both sides of the plate, enough arm to be a threat to baserunners, was around 2.0 in his warm-up tosses. Offensively stays in the middle of the field with an RBI-man type approach, short to it with good extension though contact. |
