The final Class of 2014 rankings have been released in advance with updates to the Class of 2015, Class of 2016 and the initial Class of 2017 rankings to follow over the next three days.
LHP Brendan McKay completes his dominant high school career on the mound by being named the Prep Baseball Report Pennsylvania Player of the Year. McKay, a Louisville recruit and a 34th round draft pick this year by the San Diego Padres, put together a 72 1/3 consecutive scoreless innings streak spanning the end of his junior season and the bulk of his senior season.
In addition to McKay, No. 2 J.J. Matijevic (Norwin/Boston Red Sox - Round 22) and No. 6 Josh Ockimey (Neumann-Goretti/ Boston Red Sox - Round 5) gave Pennsylvania three players in the top six spots that were drafted this spring.
