Scouting Report
2/16/2019: Dominic Cantanzarite, RHP/3B, Yorktown HS, 2020, 6 foot, 210 pounds, throws from a high ¾ slot and a medium arm action. Showed good arm quickness and average effort while sitting 84-86 with his fastball. Showed a tight and short 11/5 CB that sat 73-75, and also showed a CH with fade that sat 77-78. Threw strikes with all 3 pitches, and is a good spring/summer follow RHP.
6/12/18: 2020 RHP out of Yorktown. Strong build frame. Good tempo to the plate, delivery/arm action is clean and repeatable. Works downhill well and attacks hitters with FB in the lower half of the zone. FB showed good action to either side of the plate with good command at 84-86. SL shape breaking showed good bite and action at 70-73 for strikes. Showed overall good command of pitches. Nice upside for this 2020.
