Ryan Wheeler went 3-for-3 in the win and Junior RHP Anthony Sterchele went five innings of shutout baseball for Neuqua. Sterchele allowed two hits and struck out six in a winning effort.
No. 3 Joliet Catholic 12 St. Patrick 0 MORE
LHP Aidan Tyrell struck out 10, allowed one hit and no runs for Joliet Catholic on the mound. Matt Bebar, Greg Ziegler and Jared Cushing had two hits apiece for the Hilltoppers of Joliet Catholic. Simon Grashoff also homered in the win.

No. 4 Lincoln-Way East 10 Yorkville 5 MORE
Jake Frencl, Matt Clark and Ethan Lambrigger combined to throw 5.2 innings of shutout baseball out of the bullpen for Lincoln-Way East. Ryan Ritter, Zach Jurgens and Joey Selvaggio had two hits apiece in the win.
No. 5 St. Laurence 20 Marmion 8 MORE
Gage Olszak and Justin Rios had huge days with the bat for St. Laurence. Olszak went 4-for-6 with three doubles, three RBI's and three doubles. Rios went 3-for-5 with two home runs, seven RBI's and three runs.
No. 6 Plainfield North 11 Barrington 3 MORE
RHP Gavin Doyle did not give up a run in his four innings of work for Plainfield North. Brady Miller went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and 2 RBI's in the win.
No. 8 Brother Rice 13 No. 15 Providence Catholic 3 MORE
Purdue commit, Michael Bolton had a big day for Brother Rice going 3-for-4 with three RBI's and two runs scored. Patrick Hayes added two hits and a double in the win.
No. 9 St. Charles North 9 No. 11 Libertyville 1 MORE
Erik Larson went a seven inning complete game for St. Charles North. Larson scattered five hits, one run, struck out two and walked one in the win. Ryan Thiesse doubled and Justin Dunne had two hits, two RBI's and a run scored for St. Charles North.
Deerfield 8 No. 12 New Trier 6 MORE
MIles Powell went six innings and struck out nine for Deerfield.
Alleman 4 No. 13 Moline 1 MORE
Sam Mattecheck fired a seven inning complete game for Alleman. He scattered four hits, one run and struck out four. Andrew Barrett doubled and had two hits in the win.

Sophomore Ed Howard homered in the win and Anthony Herron added two hits and a double. Christian Lucio got the win on the mound, going all seven innings, giving up four earned runs. Trey Torain and Jason Vrbancic had two hits and a double apiece in the losing effort.

Steven Sanchez went 2-for-3 with a double and a run to lead Mundelein offensively. Senior Ryan Patel struck out two in one inning of work to close out the game for Mundelein.
Conant 5 No. 19 Grayslake Central 3 MORE
Jack Reiger went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs scored in the win. Carl Zillinskas and Teague Conrad worked 3.2 innings of shutout baseball out of the Conant bullpen.
No. 20 Oak Park-River Forest 3 Downers Grove North 1 MORE
Brendan Barrette picked up the win on the mound, going 6.2 innings, one run, none earned and struck out six. Griffin Holderfield picked up a save, striking out the one batter he faced and also homered in the win.
No. 23 St. Rita 11 St. Francis 1 MORE
Brendan Carrane, a recent St. Louis commit, went 3-for-3 with a home run for St. Rita. Freshman Bobby Atkinson also homered in the win while Jake Zylman and Mike Skoraczewski added two hits apiece. Dan Brannigan threw five innings and did not allow an earned run for St. Rita.
No. 24 Marist 5 St. Viator 0 MORE
Kendall Ewell went 3-for-4 in the win and Matthew Mirabella threw a seven inning complete game shutout for Marist. He scattered two hits, struck out two and walked two in the win.

No. 25 Lockport 8 Joliet West 1 MORE
Josh Bentley, Nick Schindler, Nolan Weis and Bryan Fox all had two hits for the Lockport Porters. TJ Jaros went three scoreless innings out of the bullpen for Lockport.
