A proportional 6-foot, 160-pound frame. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a balanced athletic set-up with some rhythm throughout. Uses a rocking load and a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a mostly middle approach, found some barrels, 79 mph exit velo. Defensively, at first base, shows some athleticism around the bag with above average hands and feet, showed some range as well. Throws from a 3/4 slot, some accuracy, 67 mph. In the game, drew two walks and flew out to the center fielder. 

A 6-foot, 160-pound proportional frame. On the mound, works from an up-tempo delivery with some looseness in his arm, coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball shows some arm-side run, 76-81 mph. Curveball showed 2/8 shape flashing some tight spin and depth, very good left on left pitch. Showed a changeup in warm-ups with some run and sink. In the game, was around the zone with the fastball and the curveball, didn’t give up any hard contact in his inning of work.

A 6-foot-1, 175-pound proportional build. Works from an average tempo wind-up with good rhythm that he repeated well. Arm circle is full with a slight pause at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sits 81-83 mph with occasional arm-side run. Curveball has 1/7 shape with some late action, thrown with near fastball arm speed and above average command, 74-75 mph. In the game, Brewer threw strikes early in his outing and became a bit erratic later. Definitely more in the tank, a young prospect to keep track of.

A 6-foot-1, 187-pound proportional frame. Works from an average tempo delivery with good rhythm that he repeats well. Uses a high leg kick with a slight coil, lands closed and finishes slightly towards the third base side. Arm action is long in the back with a slight stab and a quick change of direction, coming through a high-¾ slot with below average effort. Fatball shows consistent arm-side run with advanced command especially to the arm side and down, 81-84 mph. Curveball shows short break with some tight spin, inconsistent release point, 74-76 mph. Changeup fades to the arm side, fastball arm-speed, and some feel for the zone, 77-78 mph. Overall, Brewer’s velo and command has continued to rise over the past year and one more jump could put him in with some of the best left-handers in the state.

A proportional 6-foot-2, 187-pound frame. On the mound, the left-hander works only from the stretch with a moderate leg kick before striding straight down the mound and finishing towards the dish. Arm action is long in the back with a quick change of direction at the bottom of his arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball was not as firm as we have seen it before, sitting 82-84 mph with occasional heavy arm side run, mostly strikes. Slider has depth at times, occasionally spinning out, 73-74 mph with 1/7 shape. Changeup is thrown with full arm speed at 77-78 with some fade. In the game, Brewer struck out four of the five batters he faced and allowed one hit.

A  6-foot, 142-pound slender frame, long limbs, very high ceiling. On the mound, average tempo delivery, waist high leg kick, under control to the dish, 3/4 slot, lose arm. Fastballs keeps its plane, sits between 72-74 mph. Breaking ball has slurve action at 60 mph. Pitched three good innings in the game.

A long, projectable and athletic 6-foot-3, 168- pound frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from an abbreviated wind up with average tempo and a high leg kick before striding to the dish and finishing slightly to the first base. Arm action is long and fluid in the back before coming through a ¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball sits 87-88 mph and touches 89 mph with run especially to the arm side. Slider has late life with 10/4 shape and depth at 73-74 mph. In the game, commanded the zone with both pitches, punching out four of the five batters he faced.

A 5-foot-11, 200-pound durable frame. Works from an average tempo delivery, drops and dives from his back side as he leans towards the dish. Arm changes direction quickly in the back before coming through an over the top slot with some looseness. Fastball flashes some downhill action, sitting 82-83 mph. Curveball shows consistent tight spin with late 12/6 shape and depth, thrown for strikes early and as a chase pitch late in counts. In the game, Spry struck out five of the six batters he faced, all on the curveball, and induced a ground ball.

A durable 5-foot-11, 200-pound frame. Works from a controlled delivery down the mound, then drops and drives towards the dish with force. Arm circle is full and clean coming through an over-the-top slot with some arm speed. Hides the ball well behind his body and head, creating deception. Fastball keeps its plane, 79-83 mph, jumping on hitters. Curveball shows 12/6 shape with late depth and tight spin, 67-70 mph. Changeup keeps its plane at 70-71 mph. In the game, Spry threw strikes with all three pitches, striking out all five batters he faced, four of them looking.

A 5-foot-11, 200-pound durable frame. On the mound, works from a deliberate tempo before sinking into his backside and driving to the dish. Arm action is full and fluid with some quickness, coming through an over the top slot. Fastball sits 81-83 with downhill tilt and some late sinking action, getting lots of swings and misses. Curveball is arguably one of the best in the class thrown with full arm speed, 12/6 shape, late depth, and tight spin at 68-70 mph. In the game, Spry filled up the strike zone with both pitches, striking out a pair of hitters along with giving up two hits. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a narrow, open, upright, and back leg heavy set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth load with a moderate knee-knock leg kick and stride, good separations, some length, and a slightly uphill bat path. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach with some lift, some strength, some barrels. Exit velo of 86 mph. Runs a 7.91 60. Defensively, shows controlled and confident action. Throws from an over the top slot with a clean arm action and arm strength, good carry and accuracy, 83 mph. Also, shows well at first base. In the game, lined a changeup back through the middle of the field.

A physically advanced 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame with strength and broad shoulders. On the mound, works from a controlled and smooth delivery, sinking into his back side and getting good leg drive to the plate. Arm action is moderate and clean in the back, hides the ball well behind his head before coming through a 3/4 slot with quickness. Fastball was a tick slower than we had seen before at 81-83 mph showing occasional late run to the arm side. Curveball shows consistent late depth  with 1/7 shape, thrown at the bottom of the zone and as a chase pitch, 75-77 mph. Changeup has flashes late fade, thrown for strikes, 75-76 mph. Overall, Stacey was impressive with the amount of strikes he threw, and when he puts it together with the bigger velos he possesses, he will garner a lot of high level attention.

Arm action is very short in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball shows consistent and late arm-side run, commanded down in the zone, 85-86 mph. Slider has tight spin and late depth with 2/8 shape, 75-77 mph. Changeup has heavy arm-side run, thrown with full arm speed, 74-75 mph.

Throws with a moderate arm stroke through a high-3/4 slot with accuracy, 79 mph across the diamond.

Throws with a short arm stroke through a low-¾ slot with accuracy at 79 mph across the diamond.

A 6-foot-1, 160-pound frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an open stance with some knee bend. Uses a smooth knee-knock load, flat to the ball with a high finish. In BP, sprayed the ball around the field, hitting some of his better balls to the opposite field, 78 mph exit velo. Defensively, shows clean actions with average hands and feet. Throws with a short arm action through a 3/4 slot, 61 mph, some accuracy. 

A 6-foot-1, 160-pound proportional frame with room to add strength. Works only from the stretch, smooth with average tempo and a moderate leg kick. Throws from a high-¾ slot. Fastball flashes some sink at 71-75 mph. Curveball rolls with 11/5 shape at 59-60 mph. In the game, filled up the zone with the fastball.

A developing 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from a controlled wind-up with some rhythm and a high leg kick before gliding to the dish. Arm action is long in the back almost coming to a stop before circling through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball sits 84-87 mph and touches 88 with consistent arm side run and strikes. The slider has 1/7 shape with short and late depth at 73-74 mph. Changeup has consistent late fade and deception, with a chance to be a plus pitch in the future, 72-73 mph. 

A 6-foot-3, 165-pound frame with more room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a wide, quiet, and slightly back leg heavy set-up. Uses big and smooth load with a short and quiet stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field and flat approach finding mostly barrels with some bat speed, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.2 second 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions charging the ball well. Throws from a moderate arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy and high end arm strength at 90 mph from the outfield.

The big, 6-foot-2, 225-pound southpaw stands high atop the rubber, and touched 89 mph with fast arm speed in his first inning of work while sitting 85-87 before settling in at mostly 83-85 after a brief weather delay. The fastball showed some arm side life in the zone, and he was effectively wild in the zone for much of his outing. He also showed some feel for a breaking ball at 70-73 that broke across the plate, and received a few swings and misses. Using a methodical delivery, Ackenson’s front leg swings open while remaining linear down the mound before his quick hand gets through the ball from a high ¾ slot as he falls towards the third base line. There is a lot to like about the big left-hander, and as he continues to develop the movement patterns of his big frame, he should continue progressing.

A long 6-foot, 170-pound frame with some strength. On the mound, works from a slightly up-tempo delivery with a high leg kick and abbreviated stride. Arm action is short and fluid in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball ranges 82-85 mph with downhill tilt. Slider shows short and late cutter type action with some depth, thrown with full arm speed, 79-81 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with slurve action, some late bite and depth, 67-68 mph. Changeup has some fade at 75-76 mph thrown with full arm speed. Shows an advanced feel for the zone with all four pitches. Overall, Gehring’s fast arm and feel for the zone makes him prospect of interest for high level schools.

Uses a moderate hanging leg kick before dropping into his back side and launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a flat and middle of the field approach with leverage and some pop, mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.42. Defensively, shows well above average feet and hands that could become advanced in the near future. Arm strength is advanced with above average accuracy and shows the ability to throw from multiple slots, 84 mph.

Arm action is short, fluid, and clean before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 84-86 mph and touches 87, mostly strikes. Curveball has consistent 11/5 shape with some late depth, 68-70 mph. Changeup shows sink at 75-76 mph.

Uses a smooth and moderate stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension and a rotational finish. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach with pop and lift, mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.3 second 60. Defensively, on the infield, shows above average hands and feet with good rhythm and plays through the ball well. Throws from a very short arm stroke from multiple slots with ease and some accuracy with arm strength at 84 mph across the diamond.

In the game, it took him a few batters to find his rhythm, but once he did, he charged the zone with both pitches.

Curveball shows consistent 11/5 shape with depth at 65-67 mph. In the game, kept batters off balance with his curveball.  

A 6-foot, 205-pound durable frame with strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a narrow, open and upright set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a coiling load with a short stride and late heel plant before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension. In BP, shows a pull approach mostly flat, flashing big pop, some barrels, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.0 second 60. Defensively, shows well above average hands and feet especially for his size with deliberate actions. Throws from multiple slots with ease and excellent accuracy, completing all five plays on the day at 80 mph across the diamond. In the game, put a few good swings on balls.

Defensively, on the infield, shows above average feet, soft hands, and excellent lateral movement. Throws from a long arm stroke, coming through a ¾ slot with some arm speed and accuracy at 81 mph across the diamond. In the game, went 1-for-3 with a line drive to left field.
